Mrs. Wilma Carver Steele's Obituary
Mrs. Wilma Carver Steele, 86, widow of Charles L. Steele and a resident of Madison, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center.
The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Nellie Spears Carver. She had a long career in Banking and later with retail sales. She was a true super mom when it came to her love for home and family.
She is survived by a son, Charles Larry Steele; a sister, Bettye Reese; a nephew, Allen (Beth) Carver; two nieces, Jane (Gary) Blount and Sandy (Rex) Garton; a sister-in-law, Wanda Carver. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Bazemore; two brothers, Frank Carver and Guy Carver.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2:30PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 1:00PM until service time. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
