Mrs. Wilma Worley's Obituary
Wilma (Creasey) Worley, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Hendersonville. Wilma was born in Lafayette on February 23, 1931 to the late John L. and Myrtle (McKinney) Creasey.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and David Van Hooser; grandchildren, Susannah Littlefield and her husband, Duncan, Julia Van Hooser, and Caroline Van Hooser. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William D. Worley.
Mrs. Worley was a retired educator and she taught English at DuPont High School and Stratford High School in Nashville for over thirty-five years. She enjoyed reading – but above all else, she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. If she considered you her friend, she was loyal to you and enjoyed spending time with you.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1 pm at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 am until 1 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mrs. Worley's honor.
