Winnie Megibben May's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Winnie Megibben May. Born in Pilot Point, Texas, on April 10th, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Earl Malcolm Pryor and Mary Lou Pryor.
Winnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a lifelong Baptist and a proud member of Valley View Baptist Church in Nashville. She loved to shop and took great pride in her immaculate appearance as she always had her hair and nails done. She was a great crafter, having created many cross-stitch and ceramic works of art. She was a light in the life of those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Winnie is predeceased in death by her parents Earl and Mary Lou; her loving husband Arthur Edmond May; and her brother Richard Pryor. She is survived by her children Becky Megibben Shirley (Pete), Malcolm Kimbrough Kay (Cathy), Michael Edward Megibben (Angie), and Gregory Alan Megibben (April); sister Jan Guthrie; brother Gary Riley; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, from 4-7pm and on Thursday, June 9th, 2022, from 12pm-2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on June 9th, 2022, at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
