Zuba Lois Ledbetter's Obituary
Zuba Lois Ledbetter, age 92 of Hermitage passed away January 21, 2013. Mrs. Ledbetter was a longtime member of Hermitage Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School, watched the nursery and cooked many meals. She was an expert seamstress who sewed for her whole family; cooked dinner for her family and whoever else wanted to come every Sunday. She was a world traveler going behind the Iron Curtain many times. She also went all over the U.S., especially out west. She collected dolls from each of her many travels. Zuba loved many things in life, but her two favorites were fishing with her sisters on the Tennessee River and bowling, where she won numerous awards. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Clinton and Alsie Dian Dabbs. In 2007 she lost her husband of 61 years, Paul M. Ledbetter. Survivors include her son, Steve Ledbetter (Wanda); grandchildren, Colette Capps (Troy), Jeremy Ledbetter and Adam Bannach (Cyndi); great-grandchildren, Katlyn Kennedy, Kayla Kennedy, Kamillia Capps, Carolina Bannach and Addison Bannach; her brother, Austin Dabbs (Norma) and sister, Ruth Brown; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, January 23rd from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, January 24th from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Phil Barnes officiating. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements Entrusted To: Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, Nashville (615)865-1101
