Tom was a friend of mine for many years. We met and became friends when I was one of the nurses at the dialysis clinic where he received treatment 3 times a week. I remember how happy we all were when his brother generously donated a kidney to him. What a wonderful person he was. I'll always be sorry that we lost touch.
