Mr. Alex Thomas Warner Jr.'s Obituary
Alex Thomas Warner, Jr., age 63 of Nashville passed away July 10, 2013. Tom was born on June 24, 1950 to the late Alex Thomas Warner, Sr. and Elnora Black Warner. He graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1968; Christian Brothers College in 1973 and received his Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University in 2010. He is survived by his brother, Paul (Jackie) Warner; sisters, Kathy (Mike) Smith, Linda (Billy) Batts, Alice N. Warner and Beth (Corky) Shearron; nieces, Sara Elnora, Beverly Bennett and Julie Smith; nephews, Chris, Josh, Matthew (Alissa) and Chuck (Theresa); great nieces, Josie, Maddie, Kayla and Hayley; great nephews, Michael, Chayse and Logan; and sisters of the heart, Libba August, Missie Barnard and Dawnne Stephens. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 12th at 10:00 A.M. from St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph McMahon and Rev. Abraham Panthalanickal celebrants. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, July 11th from 4-8 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a rosary service at 6:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation at www.tennesseekidneyfoundation.org.
