She and I went out dancing one night. I met this little short older guy and we danced. He kept asking was that Anne Boatman with me, i said yes. When we finished the dance, He asked Annie to dance. We'll. That was it ...she stole my man. We laughed our heads off. She was a hoot to be with..RIP, precious Annie.
So very sorry to hear that Anne passed away. So many wonderful memories of her and Bob at the George Lindsey Celebrity Weekend in Montgomery, Alabama. Best memory is when me and my ex-husband "got them married" during one of their times at the Celebrity Weekend. Wonderful lady! Prayers for the family.
It was such a joy to know Anne. Sincere condolences to family and friends.
I was sitting in Anne's office talking about The Wildhorse Saloon show the day the Oklahoma City bombing happened. I remember just sitting there quietly and watching her TV with her. She was a sweet soul and so moved by the tragic events of that day. I have missed seeing her and all my TNN family in the past few years. She is gone too soon. May she find rest and peace.
