Mr. Arthur Lee McCloud's Obituary
Arthur Lee McCloud, age 85, of Franklin, TN. passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015.
He was the owner of Dotson’s Restaurant of Franklin, TN. He loved his family, friends, his farm and his horses. He was fondly referred to as “Mr. Art.”
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean McCloud; daughter, Sherry Diane Frazier and his grandson, Jerry Frazier. He is survived by his children, Don (Debra) McCloud, Linda (Dave) Butler and Terry McCloud; brothers Billy McCloud and George McCloud; his longtime friend and companion, Renay Roberts. 5 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
His family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30 and from 12 p.m. until his Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 1 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the customers and employees of Dotson’s Restaurant, Wayne Dunn, George Geralds and Brent Sanders, Jeff Stubblefield and, Paul Thompson and John Burns.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Services entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home. 5110 Gallatin Rd. Nashville, TN. (615) 865-1101
