Mrs. Carroll Frances Greer's Obituary
Carroll Frances Greer, age 76, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Carroll was born on January 31, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to Holle and Frances Carroll Norman.
Carroll retired from Vanderbilt Hospital. She enjoyed shopping for antiques, playing Bridge with the ladies, entertaining and cooking for all her guests that were at her house, and loved being on the road going to various places. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She cherished all her kids and grandkids and took great care of her husband and all around her.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by sister, Madlyn Butler; and brother, Johnny Norman.
Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband, Don Greer; sons, Donnie Greer and Ronnie Greer (Susan); daughter, Connie Greer; grandchildren, Mike, Ronnie, and Andy Greer; great-grandchildren, Kelsea, Michael, Bentley, and Nicholas Greer; sisters, Charlene Ward, Georgia Norman and Debbie Norman.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Donnie Greer, Ronnie Greer, Edward Fugua, Todd Hayes, Barry Ward, Mike Merryman, Michael Greer, and Randy Butler.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be; Dorris Myers and Bill Butler.
