Dr Beck was my parent’s and also my physician for several years. He was the best physician and also Christian man that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Lisa I am so sorry about both your parents they will be surely missed. Sorry about being so late with the condolences.
I was a patient of Dr. Beck from 1989 until he retired. I don’t believe there will ever be another doctor as thorough as he was. You dare not mention anything hurting if you did not want to find out the cause.
The last time we saw Dr. Beck and Angela was at the Schermerhorn. We happened to have seats next to them. He was telling us about his studies in Integrative Holistic Medicine.
It was an annual tradition to attend “The Living Christmas Tree” at Dalewood Baptist under the leadership of Angela Beck. The presentation was a blessing from beginning to end.
Our loss is heaven’s gain.
I was a Nurse at Nashville Memorial Hospital and so loved Dr. Beck. He was a kind and gentle soul,always nice to the staff and his patients love him. My condolences to the family and friends .
I’ll never forget our long discussions about medical care. Though I was just a Medical Transcriptionist, he never talked down to me. He loved to explain the things I didn’t know and I loved talking to him. My girls were very fond of Dr. Charles as well. I’ve been missing him a lot, and I regret that I didn’t get down to Georgia to see him one more time. I love you, Dr. Charles and you will continue to be missed.
My dad Earl Ford worked at NMH for 15 yrs in Safety. He was good friends with Dr Beck. My daughter worked 6 yrs in Volunteer Services and ran the gift shop for several yrs. She graduated from Cumberland University with RNBSN. She is Nurse Manager at Spinal Surgery Hospital at St Thomas Mid Town. Dr Beck was an inspiration to our family. His service to TCMC and NMH is appreciated by Community. God Bless the family.
An outstanding Physician, a thorough gentleman, and a great friend. We have several fond memories of Dr. Beck during our several years of the association at the Memorial Hospital in Nashville. We had numerous common patients, and all of them greatly appreciated his dedication and efficient care.
We will miss him and his wife, Angela, who passed away a couple of years ago.
