Charles Edwin "Eddie" Claud's Obituary
Charles Edwin “Eddie” Claud went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 20, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Doris R. McCaleb Claud and Ralph J. Claud.
Eddie is survived by two siblings, brother, Jeff (Annette) Claud and sister, Kimberly J. (James) Claud Averitt.
He had two nieces, Kira Farris Cleveland (Jeff), Amirah Farris Bare (Ben) and two nephews,
Walter Claud, Max (Maggie) Claud. In addition, He also had five great nieces and nephew.
Eddie also had aunts and numerous cousins. He had many wonderful friends. Eddie was loved by all that knew him. He is already missed.
Eddie was a faithful member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Hendersonville High School,”73” and The University of Tennessee. He was a Certified Public Accountant. A special Thank you to Eddie’s last employer, Smyrna Ready Mix for the kindness and support they have given to our family. Eddie was employed with Smyrna Ready Mix as Assistant Controller. He also was Controller for Opryland Gaylord/Marriott International and retired after 36 years with Opryland Gaylord.
A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 2 from 2:00pm until 7:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will take place on Friday, February 3 with
visitation from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 10:00 am, also at the funeral home.
Brother Eddie Hodges will be officiating the eulogy. Friends and Family will serve as Pallbearers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville.
