I remember visiting Uncle Claude and Aunt Reva's house as a child. The thing I remember most is Uncle Claude always had to fix you breakfast. I don't know what time he got up but it was early and he would put his morning coffee on and start cooking. By the time we woke up it was time for the feast there was always bacon, smoked sausage patties, country ham and red eyed gravy, sliced tomatoes, cream style corn and eggs. I remember he would always say here it is eat it or not I did my best. That is what I remember about Uncle Claude he was always putting his best first and it showed in his daily life, From being the best husband to Aunt Reva or the best father to his son Eddie. The world has truly lost a great man.
