Clint E. Watts' Obituary
Clint E. Watts, 81, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1941 in Madison, Tennessee. Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Lorena Tyree Watts and a granddaughter, Laurel Watts.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janet Traylor Watts, two children, Todd Watts and Bradley Watts (Cathy), four grandchildren, Dawson Watts and his mother Kara, Emma Watts, Jacob Watts and Leah Mammarelli and two brothers, David E. Watts (Judy) and Charles O. Watts (Jane)
Mr. Watts graduated from Dupont High School in 1959. He attended Tennessee Tech and served a short time in the U.S. Army. After working for twenty-five years at DuPont he retired. Mr. Watts had a passion for travel and adventure which he pursued by exploring the country in his beloved RV. One of his other joys in life was fishing, spending countless hours on the water, always seeking that perfect catch. Throughout his life, Mr. Watts touched the hearts of many with his kindness, humor and generosity and devotion to God. He was always quick with a smile, a joke and a helping hand. He was a longtime member of Madison Church of Christ.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to gather for a time of sharing on Monday, May 1, 2023, from ten o’clock in the morning until the time of the funeral service at one thirty in the afternoon at Madison Church of Christ, 106 Gallatin Pike North in Madison. The rite of committal will immediately follow via an escorted cortege at Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike in Nashville.
