Who is Millie? Yes, she was my Uncle Rudolph’s wife. Yes, she loved her Buttons - both of them! Yes, she was loved by Rudolph’s family. And yes, she was a Godly woman. But those descriptions aren’t enough to accurately reflect the spirit of who she was. Her smile was constant and never failed through her tough times. Her voice was joyful and real in her praise to the Lord. I never heard be negative or demean anyone. She had such a forgiving heart. Gentleness and kindness were her hallmark! Mother (Rudolph’s sister) loved her dearly Mother always looked forward to their visits from Nashville. Mother loved telling Millie stories about Rudolph growing up- and later in life!! Trust me there was plenty to tell!! Millie greatly enjoyed this but not sure Rudolph always did!! Millie would always write us such a sweet thank you note when they returned home. That’s an example of her kindness. I could write so much about this gracious lady. I admired her so much and was aware how I fell short of her example. I’m thankful she is now in the arms of Jesus in her heavenly mansion. I’m sure she and Mother have already had a great reunion. We will love you forever, Millie.
