Cordie Gemilla Hunt's Obituary
Cordie Gemilla “Millie” Hunt, 90, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. She was born in Celina, TN on July 21, 1930, the daughter of Homer and Doll (Thompson) Scott both of whom preceded her in death.
Millie was very active in her church and enjoyed helping out in any way she could. She worked as a secretary for many years at Life and Casualty Insurance Company here in Nashville. Millie loved to sing in her free time; she especially loved to sing church music and old standards. Millie will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Millie is survived by her niece, Cindy Scott and nephews: Jim Scott, Tony Scott, and Jay Scott. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Ann Evans and seven great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Hunt; brother Bruce Scott; sister- in- law Loretta Scott and double first cousins, Wynona Love and Cero Scott.
