What a wonderful woman. Spent time with Diane when she first met the man who would become her husband; Jimmy. During those times, between her laughter, she would share her love of 'Jimmy' and just gush over his awesome qualities!!! Her brothers (Tommy and Danny) were riding horses at Ravenwood (the Park Club) at the time and the entire family opened their arms to all of us young riders. Since their home was near the horse barn, we would pile into their home frequently. Trish and Kevin were toddlers and so cute and cuddly; Mr. Quinn would keep all the horse folks 'in line' and Mrs. Quinn would caretake and demand that everyone stay over at the Quinn house during inclement weather. Mrs. Quinn would also load those of us being with them on Sunday morning, for mass...protestant or catholic, it made no difference. Diane, when home,
served to transport all of us here and there and would interject her lovely fun-loving spirit into whatever was going on! We knew that if Diane was part of the mix, special fun would be had by all. All of us looked up to her and she made each feel special. Diane's memory will live on in the wonderful memories of those whose lives she touched. Prayers and blessings!
Jim and Philip, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I thought so much of Dee. She will be truly missed. Many hugs to you both.
