Mrs. Diane Dickman's Obituary
Mrs. Diane Dickman, age 70, a lifelong resident of Nashville, TN, died Saturday morning. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Anthony Quinn. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Jim Dickman, her son, Philip Dickman, her soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Margot Gaston, her brothers, Thomas Quinn, Kevin Quinn, and Daniel Quinn (Bitsy), her sister, Patricia Halterman (Joe), her nieces, Melissa Muraira (Josue), Jennifer Halterman (engaged to Bobby), Jessica Pugh (Nick), her nephews, Tim Halterman (Angie), Kevin A. Quinn (Sarah), Patrick Quinn, Brian Quinn (Millie), Chase Quinn, and Dylan Quinn, her brother-in-law, Ronnie Dickman (Boris), and her seven great-nieces and nephews who she treated like grandchildren, Savannah, Gabriella, Levi, Isaiah, Malachai, Olivia, and Skylar. She attended Holy Name, St. Joseph, and St. Bernard Academy, class of 1965. She graduated from Draughon’s Business College and went on to work for her father’s companies, City Decorating and Quinn’s Paint and Craft Store, until she became a stay-at-home mother. She was a room mother at Andrew Jackson Elementary, a volunteer at Holy Rosary, and a band booster for Father Ryan. Her hobbies included crafts, scrapbooking, and an avid league bowler for years. She loved keeping in touch with family and friends, and spending time with her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, neighbor, and friend to all. She would tell you that her most cherished interest was her family and being a mother, sister, and aunt. She had the best smile and the best laugh and will be deeply missed. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 3-7 pm at St. Stephens Catholic Church with a vigil from 6 – 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be conducted 10 am, Friday morning with internment afterward at Spring Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a cherished charity of hers, and her church, St. Stephen Catholic Church.
