I remember when I first met Don. He was finance director at Broadmoor Church of God. I was the church secretary and worked closely with Don to keep the financial records balanced. He was a wonderful, kind person whom I will never forget! We sang in the choir together. Wilma Welsh
For several years, I enjoyed the opportunity to sing with Don as a member of Men of Harmony Barbershop Chorus. Some of my best memories of the holiday season includes Don when the chorus performed Christmas shows. I thought our group really enjoyed these performances; we loosened up, smiled a little, and had a good time. That made the holidays pretty special to me. Don will be missed by many. He lived a good life. I am glad to have known him.
