Mr. Harned was a long time favorite customer of mine at Steak and Shake on Myatt Drive. He always ordered the same thing and was very careful with his pennies.....he will be missed very much...The family is in our prayers....God Bless You All....

Mr. Harned was my first grade principal at McGavock Elementary. He left a strong impression on me; he exemplified how to show love by being strict, but never being mean. As a 6 year old, I respected him. Meeting up with him later in life in my 20's, he still exemplified grace and love as I was his waiter at lunch one day, he remembered me (or at least pretended to). What a great man, what a great life lived.

Don Harned was a fine Christian man, who lived his faith everyday. I have fond memories of him at Gallatin Road Baptist Church and his wonderful family. It took a special day for him to be called home.
I met Mr. Harned on a few occasions at the home of his daughter Mrs. Thomas and son in law Mr. Thomas. I will remember him as a very nice man and always smiling. A faithful servant of the Lord now rests from his labors and is with his wife and all those who have gone on before him. I will always remember him and his daughter Melissa whom I miss dearly. I smile when I think of their reunion in Heaven.
