My name is Aaron Caldwell and I worked under Mr. WILLS from 1987 until my retirement in 2002. He was a good and fair with his employees and helped me during challenging and stressful times and I was proud to work under his supervision because he handled things directly and face to face and I respected him very much. My last job under his supervision was being the only Network technician taking care of the Batman building and six square blocks of business from that location. God bless is soul

When I think back over my years at BellSouth/AT&T, Don is one of my favorite Managers. He always showed a genuine interest in my family and me. He was special. I was so saddened to hear of his passing, but comforted that he is at peace in the joyful presence of Christ. I was out of town and so sorry to miss the funeral! Don Started at south central bell as a frameman working with me (Buddy Shaffer) and
after a few weeks of working together I told Our Manager that he was wasting his time
working on the frame that they should send him to the management test school and
they did and he aced the school and he went on up the ladder after that.

I did not see this until this morning or I would have come by good bye. He was a great
guy and a good friend will miss him.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Don's passing. I thought the world of him. I was fortunate enough to have seen the business side of him, at which I have the greatest respect, but I also experienced him as a wonderful friend when we would have talks about work in general and share family stories. Jim and I extend sympathy to Donny's family. On a personal note, we would like to say how thankful we are to have recently spent an evening with Donny and Vickie and several other Maplewood graduates. Donny and I had several classes together at Maplewood and I always thought he was one of the brightest among my classmates. Always such a gentleman and I hope Vicki will forgive me, but, I always thought he was sooo cute. The recent evening we spent getting to know this wonderful man, will be stored within our hearts for years to come. Rest in the arms of Jesus, dear friend.
