Ms. Donna Frost's Obituary
Donna Lynn Frost, age 60, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Donna was born on December 9, 1955 in Nashville, TN.
Ms. Frost was preceded in death by her father, Lee Eugene Frost. She is survived by her mother, Bobby Jean (Steele) Frost; her special friend and companion, Joe Coleman, Jr.; her sister, Karen Frost, and her husband, Walter Grabner; her nephew, Warren Grabner; a special circle of friends who were a constant support throughout her lengthy illness: Henry Maupin, Lauren Battist, Jill and Keith Davenport, Lorraine Rognstad, Linda Jent, Becky Green, Theresa Coleman, and Michael Blackmon; and a host of other friends and family members.
Ms. Frost worked for the State of Tennessee for over 30 years, primarily for the Tennessee State Museum. She started at the Museum when it was still housed in the War Memorial Building and was working there as a Level 4 Information Resource Specialist when she retired. Her recent hobbies included cross-stitching and coloring. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with family and friends.
An informal visitation-style celebration of Ms. Frost’s life will be held at 5816 Robert E. Lee Drive this Saturday, September 24 from 2-6 pm. Friends and family are encouraged to bring stories and memories to share. A private interment will take place earlier in the week.
