Wow I just found out Ray had passed. He did my daughter and my god daughters wedding photography. He was a good egg!

Birth date: Aug 6, 1946 Death date: Aug 29, 2019
Ray was so devoted to his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to continue that devotion to his grandchildren by asking for contributions to their college fund. Memorial contributions can be made at the link pr Read Obituary
Wow I just found out Ray had passed. He did my daughter and my god daughters wedding photography. He was a good egg!

I first met Ray when we both worked at the Metro Police Dept. As others have said he always had a smile and words of encouragement, just an all around great guy. Judy, I pray that God will bless you, your family, and friends with the comfort only HE can provide. Joe Hampton, ENHS Class of 66
Ray, we have had some times since we were kids. You were more than a cousin to me. You were more like a brother. Even though I got that whipping when I was six for something you did, it’s ok. I would gladly take two more just to have you back with us. I’m really sorry about the bachelor party. I hope Judy has forgiven me by now for that one. I already miss you my brother. Gods speed until we meet again.

I remember Ray in high school at ENHS. He was always smiling and friendly to everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed getting re-acquainted with him and his lovely wife, Judy when I attended the monthly dinners. I will miss him at those dinners and at our reunions. My prayers to Judy and the family. May God bless you all, and give you peace and comfort in the days to come. Brenda Pope Ford
I will never forget how my daughter Rachel as a young toddler at ballgames watching Jason and my Jay play softball would go say hi to Juwee and wray

Fond memories of Ray from the ENHS Class of 64. Last time I saw him was at one of our Tuesday dinners..always smiling. He was a great photographer. At our 50th reunion he took a headshot of me. It was so good it was published under my byline in Today's Insurance Professional magazine. Everyone thought it was a great photo. RIP. May the Holy Trinity shine on you.
"Ray-Ray" (as my daughters called him when they were very young), was always willing to help us. He did a great job of professional photography for my wedding and my children and grandchildren's pictures. He loved his family and will be in our hearts always. Deepest sympathy from cousin, Patsy (Burroughs) Hargis and family.
