Today would have been your 75th Birthday. We miss you so much and think of you often. I will always cherish the memories.
Yes, Earl was my best friend since he retired from the Tyson meat company. We used to go out almost everyday shopping. He was a very caring person, which I'll miss. My beloved dare neighbor.
Sincerely Mrs. G. Blake
No farewell words were spoken, there was no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, only God knows why.

Earl and I first met at Hume Fogg High School. We both started out working at Vaughn Mfg Co . I would sometimes ride to work with him . We managed to stay in touch throughout the years, especially about the last ten years or so. Earl would call at least once or twice a week (as he did several other of our school buddies) if I didn't hear from him for a week I would call him.
Earl sure liked to stay in touch with his school buddies.
It's been more than a week now and we sure miss those phone calls Earl.
RIP Buddy.
