Earl Edwin Haywood, Jr.'s Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Earl Edwin Haywood, Jr. on January 10th, 2023 in Madison, Tennessee. He was born on August 18th, 1948, in Nashville to Earl Edwin Haywood, Sr. and Bessie Jane DeMoss Haywood.
Earl was a friend to everyone, and those close to him would compare him to Norm on “Cheers” as his favorite place to be was The Superdog in Madison. He proudly worked as a draftsman at Old Hickory Tool and Die until his well-deserved retirement. His presence will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his brother Ernest Haywood. He is survived by his goddaughter Kimberly Spalding (David); their daughter Heather Spalding; special friend Betty Hix; and a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Those that wish to attend are advised to meet at Spring Hill Funeral Home at 9:45 AM, and Mr. Haywood, Jr.'s casket will be escorted in a cortege to his final resting place.
