Mrs. Fay M. Bradford's Obituary
Fay M. Bradford, July 27, 1935-July 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fay P. Milligan, and her son, John Arthur Bradford. Survived by loving husband John Bradford, Jr., daughter Diana Bradford, sister Ann (Ed) Steen of Franklin, North Carolina, grandson Taylor (Edalmarys) Bradford of Tampa, Florida, and granddaughter Kelsey Bradford of Nashville, nieces, nephews, faithful cat Ingrid and devoted friend and caregiver Kaylyn Smith. Fay graduated from Rockwood High School and studied at Erlanger Hospital nursing school in Chattanooga. She was a registered nurse and especially enjoyed her time in the cardiac care and psychiatric units. Even though her arthritis prevented her from doing many things later in in life, she always longed to return to her love of nursing. Our precious Fay Baby, with her beautiful smile and quick wit, will be forever missed. We are grateful for your thoughtful prayers and for the many wonderful caregivers, especially those with Alive Hospice. Visitation will be held from 5-6pm on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at The Donelson Fellowship, 3210 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Donelson Fellowship or Alive Hospice in her name.
