We did not know about your father.... I happened to go on Facebook (which I seldom use just look at pictures sometimes) and happened to see your Dad's Obit., we are so very sorry for your loss. We met your parents years ago at North Courtenay Church of Christ...they were special. Your wonderful memories will see you through, even though your loss is always with you. My wife Flora and I have not know the Andrews very long, as we are relative newcomers to Nashville and the Broadmoor church. But there is an impression inbedded in my mind, and that is the faithfulness of George and his good wife. Even though at an old age and being somewhat feeble, this couple faithfully attended the church services whenever they could. While others may have been content to stay at home, this godly couple wanted to be present with the other Christians to worship God and enjoy being together. -- David and Flora Tant
To all of Leamon's family, we offer our deepest sympathy and love. I will never forget when brother Leamon and the other elders walked into the services of the Wooley Springs church of Christ where I was preaching near Athens, AL in 1973 to meet me and hear me preach, and when they later invited us to move to work with the Broadmoor church there in Nashville. It opened a completely new chapter in our life--getting to know all of the wonderful Andrews family and other saints at Broadmoor who have been lifelong friends. Leamon and Marianna have demonstrated their faith, hope, and love in Christ more ways than anyone can number and have touched more lives than anyone can guess. May God bless Marianna and all of the family in this loss, but may He help us also be faithful to end so that we can be with God, with Leamon, and with all the saints in heaven for eternity.
