Mr. Gregory "Greg" Allen Margotta's Obituary
Gregory “Greg” Allen Margotta age 52 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away March 1, 2016. He was born November 20, 1963 in Tarrytown, New York to Maurice and Mary Margotta. He spent the majority of his childhood in Connecticut.
Greg was an IS Manager for the Clinical Department at Community Health Systems (CHS). He loved his Harley motorcycle, his work, sports, music, but his family and friends always came first. He was a father who would spend every waking hour working hard to provide and support his family. His kids and granddaughter were his life. He was such a friendly and kind-hearted soul. His humor could truly brighten up any place. He could make you laugh and feel better about any situation no matter how sad you may have been. He started multiple charities to show his love and support for his friends such as the Ride for Jerry Lynn, Benefit Ride for Z, For Andrea, and ForTennessee. Because of his loving personality and kind spirit, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter Jessie Margotta; son Justin Margotta; parents Maurice Margotta and Mary Margotta ; granddaughter Zoe Rae Lange; sister Maureen Raincourt (David); close friend Nikki Tidwell; and numerous nieces, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be Sunday, March 6, 2016, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his close friends and family. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Dixon, Lloyd, and his CHS team.
