I went to college in Cookeville with Mrs. King's daughter, Suzanne. I was privileged to spend several weekends with Mr. and Mrs King at their home in Nashville. I couldn't have asked for a nicer lady that took care of all who came through her door. She treated us like we were her own children and laughed right along with us at things that were funny. We knew we were loved by her, and she was like a second mother to all of us. I will never forget her and the hospitality she showed. Suzanne and Tommy - my prayers are with you! She is in a better place and will be waiting for you when you come to the gate.

Aunt Helen was married to my Dad's brother, Sam. When my family visited her home in White's Creek north of Nashville, she always made me and my sister feel well. I have great memories of the many tasty meals prepared by Aunt Helen and her mother Mama Case, especially the yummy potato rolls! She always had a smile for me and tried me like part of her own family. I do miss her and hope she finds comfort in the Great Beyond. Tommy J. King.
