Jack Sanders Holt's Obituary
Jack Sanders Holt, affectionately known as "Sandy," passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 5th, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in 1954, Sandy was cherished as a devoted father, brother, and friend, known for his unwavering integrity, kindness, and resilience.
Sandy spent his formative years in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating from Stratford High School before pursuing higher education at the University of Tennessee, where he earned a degree in Business. He dedicated his career to Sanders Manufacturing Company in Nashville, Tennessee, where he excelled in sales over many years.
A member of Cedar Creek Church by the Lake, Sandy found joy in outdoor pursuits such as hunting, fishing, and boating on the lake with his beloved friends, family, and his cherished dogs, Blackie and Daisy. He will be remembered for his generous heart, infectious smile, and his easy-going, adventurous spirit that was always up for anything.
Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Sandy is predeceased by parents Jack and Nelle (Sanders) Holt, brother Mark Holt, and sister, Becky Holt Barnes. Those left behind to cherish his memory are son Lance (Haleigh) Holt, grandchildren, Elleigh and Hudson Holt, sisters Janelle Holt and Kathy (Sam) Weedman. There will be a private family graveside service held Monday, July 15, 2024 at 1pm at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will welcome guests for a visitation at Spring Hill Funeral home on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 2 pm until 4 pm.
