Uncle Rip was my uncle I loved very much. He was a big brother to my dad Winford “ Wink” Collins. I know they had a wonderful reunion in heaven when my dad saw his big brother at the pearly gates of heaven. Uncle Rip loved to talk about all of his military stories with me. He honored me with his lifetime of memories when he gave me his military photo Albums. Uncle Rip told me he loved me and wanted me to remember him often with his photo albums. Unlce Rip was a wonderful loving uncle.
I will miss Uncle Rip the rest of my life!
