Mr. James "Jimmy" E. Holt's Obituary
Hall of Fame outdoorsman Jimmy Holt, a former Tennessean sports writer and Metro Councilman passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents George and Floyd Holt; brother Jack Holt; sister Ann Nichols Sunstead; and grandson Jack Holt, Jr. He is survived by his son Denny Holt; granddaughter Diana Holt-Kizer (James Kizer) and great grandchildren Peyton Hesson, McKenna Adams, Jeremy Holt, Matthew Kizer, and Jacob Kizer. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 4-8pm. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10am in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
