Jimmy Walker was absolutely an amazing human. Stephne and I have known each other since high school but I only got to know her Dad in the last 12 years. Mr Waller showed up for me big time .. my Mother passed away suddenly and my Dad was having heart issues. Jimmy came to St Thomas and stayed with me during a procedure for my Dad ! I have never been so grateful .. Jimmy’s smile and stories kept me comfortable all day! He loved his children and grandchildren so much … I felt so at home around him and I am so thankful for him. His absence will be unbearable for Stephne .. but I know he will be an angel watching over all his family always. Peace be with all his family. best -Wendy Convery

Jimmy and Helen always opened their hearts and home for Waller reunions. Both were great cooks and wonderful host and hostess. Family came from Atlanta, Birmingham, Asheville, Nashville and locally from Brentwood and exotic places like Hermitage, TN to attend. Although I married into this beautiful family I was never treated as anything other than a family member. I am so proud to be a Waller! I know your immediate family is heartbroken losing you; God bless them and hold them in his comforting bosom. I can only begin to imagine the wonderful reunion of the Waller family in heaven, great food, wonderful family stories and lots of hugs and kissesl We are missing you Jimmy, but we'll see you soon. *Lord Jesus, thank you for saving me from this old life and giving me a new life in You. Amen.*

Jimmy was such a kind, funny, loving and generous man. If you were lucky enough to know him, you know he was always there for you at any time day or night. My heart goes out to his family as I know he will be dearly missed and always remembered as a great father, husband and friend. RIP Jimmy.
