James "Jimmy" K. WALLER's Obituary
James “Jimmy” Kenneth Waller passed away December 25, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. Jimmy was born on December 1, 1943 to Charles E. Waller Jr. and Eleanor Waller. Jimmy was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Nashville and was proud to continue the Waller furniture store along with his brother Rodney Waller. Their father had started with one location and eventually had four locations throughout the Nashville and Metro area.
When you hear the name Jimmy Waller, you immediately think what a good friend and person he was. Jimmy was a lifetime friend who would be there no matter what. He was loved by so many, and his good heart and positive attitude were unmatched. He never lost his temper and was always there when you needed him.
Jimmy loved his family deeply – his wife, children, and grandchildren were his world. His passion for the outdoors began when he was a young boy and never faded.
A man of his word, Jimmy also had a deep love for his dog Duke and other animals. Jimmy's presence, wisdom, and friendship will be truly missed by many.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Tommy Waller. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Helen Wilson Adair Waller; beloved children, Steve Waller and Stephne Waller Hanscom; stepchildren, Denise Adair, Johnny Adair Jr., and Michael Donnell; cherished siblings, Rodney C. Waller and wife Sandra, Barbara Jean Shanks and husband Steve; sister-in-law, Vanessa Waller; adored grandchildren, Phoebe and Madeline Hanscom, Joseph Fyke Jr., Sydney Fyke, Nathan, Conner, and Mathew Donnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
