Mr. James "Robert" Knox's Obituary
Mr. James “Robert” Knox, age 51 of Nashville passed away on December 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Lykens Knox. Mr. Knox was a graduate of Madison High School and earned the distinguished Eagle Scout honor as a teenager. Robert loved to cook and was particularly fond of BBQ hot wings and anything with hot sauces, which at one time he collected. Robert was an avid UT and Tennessee Titans fan. He was also a fan of music, particularly classic rock and Johnny Cash. Mr. Knox is survived by his parents, Bob and Linda Glover Knox; sister Joni (Joel) Grimes; and niece, Mollie Grimes. A celebration of Robert’s life will take place on Friday, December 13th at 12:00 pm at Faith Presbyterian Church in Goodlettsville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 13, from 10am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home, Nashville.
