My favorite is seeing jayme to see her dad. What a great relationship they had. She will miss him. She looks and talks just as fast as James does. May you rest in peace.
The last time I saw James was at Uncle Pens Cabin in Rosine, KY. We talked for over an hour and it was a great conversation. He rebuilt Uncle Pens Cabin and it is very beautiful.
This was the best conversation we have had and he was happy that afternoon. Joe and Francis Autry carried me there.
I will never forget the conversation. They were taking pictures and he told me to get over there and have my picture taken with him. I was in shock. I have the picture in my living room next to our brother AL Monroe Jones.
I love James and I always will. I also love his son James 11 very much. He is a wonderful young man.
I am very depressed that I cannot get to see him before he is buried. But there was no way I could go that far. I am 83 and James was 2 years and 10 days exactly, older than me.
James we will meet on the other side and rejoice together with all of our family and friends. Look for me because I will be looking for you. Until we meet again.
Love Gloria Jean

Rest peacefully, Dad.
Love forever,

I have been a fan of James since I was about 5 years old. I joined his fan club back at that time.. When I was about 17 years old I became an Assisstant Representative for my home stat of West Virginia and reported for the fan club magazine. I have many memories of James taking time to take pictures with me and the many bluegrass shows I attended over the years. RIP James
