Mr. James Michael "Mike" Scott's Obituary
James Michael "Mike" Scott, 53, of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away Tuesday July 9, 2019.
Mike was a truck driver for many years and loved driving his truck. He enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and testing his luck with scratch off lottery tickets in which he was quite lucky a number of times. Mike also loved to fish, going to a turkey shoot occasionally and had previously enjoyed going to the drag strip with his family to race their dragster. He was always a busy man rarely taking a moment to rest.
He is proceeded in death by his father, James Malcolm Scott.
Mike is survived by his children Michael (Kimberly) Scott, Charles Scott (Lucretia Beever) and Kera (Christopher) O'String; mother, Bertha Mae Haley; brothers Tracy Haley (Stephanie Witham) and Terry Wayne Hampton (Gayle Hampton); he is also survived by nine grandchildren, Nathan, Briana, Tyler, Cameron, Michael, Jayden, Peyton, Kera Mai and Mason.
Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. Sunday July 14, 2019 at the Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 11 am until the time of the service at 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Rd. Nashville, TN 37216) has been entrusted with the final care of Mr. Scott.
