James Waymon Spurlock's Obituary
James Waymon Spurlock, age 66, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was born on July 16, 1952 in Nashville, TN to the late John Waymon Spurlock and Shirley Ann Austin.
James was a member of the Ionic Lodge #254 F. & A.M. He was a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor (KCCH) of Scottish Rite. James owned and operated his own plumbing business for over 50 years. He also loved riding Harley Davidsons most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa Conner Spurlock; a brother Carl Spurlock; a sister Janet Whitworth; his mother-in-law Margie Conner; a sister-in-law Vickie Conner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday July 26 from 4 PM till 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison. A Masonic Service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday during the visitation. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Friday July 27 at 12 PM noon at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Forrester officiating. The family will receive friends and visitors on Friday from 10 AM until the service at Noon. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
