Precious memories of Mrs. Joan Barkley and days together at Dalewood Baptist Church, but will always remember her like many did as "Meece." My sister looks down today with that love she had for "Pops" and "Meece." My last visit with her at Creekside was enjoyable as we shared old times and thoughts of her family members that I have known so long and was associated with at church and elsewhere, like Vanderbilt events. A Mother's love will always be missed as I miss mine after 30 years even.
