I was Joan's classmate in Wilmington. I didn't get to know her until Jr. High when I came on the scene. Joan was one of the sweetest people and had the tenderest voice. We all knew she loved Rodger and most of all, her Lord. I wish we could have gotten together in the last few years. God bless her family. Linda Goodwin Traub
Joan was more than our Pastor’s wife! She was a lover of our children and supported our church family in so many ways. I will always remember her saying that she would pray for our attitude if we were complaining about anything! May God give you comfort and beautiful memories. Heaven has gained a great soul. I know she’s thrilled to be with her Lord and her husband Roger - Joan and I were friends since we were kids , Attended school together and we both excepted Christ as our Lord and Savior at the same revival meeting.
