Ms. Joan Gale Rush's Obituary
Ms. Joan Gale Beasley Rush, age 73 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020. She was born on February 22, 1947 in LaCenter, Kentucky to the late Henry and Louise Beasley. In addition to her parents, Ms. Rush was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Roger Rush, and her brothers Gene Beasley and Jerry Beasley. She is survived by her children Michele Galluzzi (Michael), Jeff Rush (Kimberly), Cheri Whitfield (Jim), Patricia York (Ben), her sisters Henrietta Lyday and Fran Roderfeld, and her grandchildren: Sam Galluzzi (Hannah), Emily Alonge (Noah), Gabrielle Galluzzi, Benjamin Galluzzi, Zac Rush, Victoria York, and Addison York.
Joan was a supportive, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, and “Nanny.” She was incredibly passionate about her relationship with Christ and had a heart for missions. Although she suffered many trials, she continued to let the light of the Spirit shine for all to see. She will be missed deeply by all who had the great honor of knowing her.
A visitation for Ms. Rush will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10am to 2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning at 2pm in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will follow. Spring Hill Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final care of Ms. Rush. 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37216.
