Mrs. Kathe Brice's Obituary
Kathe Brice, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Thomas Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Kathe was born on February 16, 1930 in Germany to Johann and Anna (Ekstein) Buttner.
Mrs. Brice was a beautician in Germany. She added her personal touch to making beautiful floral arrangements and had an enormous doll collection. She spent an extensive amount of time traveling with her daughter, Christine; a few of the places that they went together to was Alaska, Disney World, and Europe.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of thirty-one years, Jean Brice; sister, Gerda; and her great-niece, Elizabeth.
Mrs. Brice is survived by daughter, Christine, and husband Don Miller; granddaughter, Katie Miller; sister, Ida Winckler; nieces, Tina, Tonya, and Patricia; nephew, Harold “Hal”. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. There will be an additional visitation on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Interment will take place in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
