Kathleen E. Dixon, age 82, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Angeline Eannottie; four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Dixon; four sons, Wayne Hemmerly (Susan), Patrick Hemmerly (Theresa), Ken Dixon (Sunee), David Dixon (Naomi); ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Kathy was a very active lay person in the church of the Nazarene. She served as a dedicated pastor’s wife for thirty eight years. She was a faithful member of Trevecca Church of the Nazarene and a charter member of the Agape Sunday school class. Kathy was a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene College. She was a devoted teacher in the Metro Nashville Public School system for thirty-three years. She loved her family and cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service for Kathy will be held at a later date.
