While at Hume Fogg I remember having one class with Linda. She was quiet but also very kind. I also remember how lovely she was. May fond memories sustain her family and friends. Rest in peace, Linda.

My dear friend, Linda and I met when I moved here in 1970 from East Tn. Along with our other friend, Debbie. We all three immediately became best friends AND remained so rest of her life. Linda and Deb each lived on Acklen Ave. when I met them - about a year later my family moved to Acklen. My house was located in between the two of them. We were like the "Three Muskateers"!!! We went every where and did every thing together... spent the night with each other all the time, even though we were only couple houses apart. My life was blessed to have become her friend... so many good, fun memories through out the years. Linda and I got to share in a couple vacations to the Florida coast - wonderful times. She will certainly be missed - we were all three BFF's - the type that could not see each other for awhile and pick right up just like it had been yesterday.
To tell of her good sense of humor, once the three of us were going over to visit a friend (we were teenagers) late one night and when we got there, he was not home yet. He had always told us if he wasn't ever home to crawl in his window. So, the three of us were all scared to do it - but, Linda and Debbie talked me into it. And when I got inside, no lights were on and I was feeling around the wall for the switch and, boy, did I ever find it - the cover plate was off it and I got shocked. I screamed... they came running, luckily, I was okay. But, we all laughed til we cried.
I am so thankful just few months ago, the three of us were together. Deb had shoulder surgery at Vanderbilt - I called Linda and we met at the hospital to visit her. Then Linda and I went to lunch at Panera Bread on West End --- our old stomping grounds out there. A "special" last memory...
Goodbye, my dear friend... you will "FOREVER, FOREVER BE IN MY HEART"!!!
I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!
