Mr. Lofton Neal Woodall's Obituary

Lofton Neal Woodall, 84, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Born July 5, 1936 in Nashville, he was the son of the late Lofton Woodall and Mamie Tune Woodall.
Neal had worked for Metro Water and Sewer for over 25 years. He also owned and operated his own construction company, Woodall Construction. He enjoyed golfing, fishing (saltwater and freshwater), and hunting deer and rabbit. He was a tough, hardworking man who always put his family first, and he proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Sheila Ann Cathey; sister Lucille Crutcher; and brother Bobby Woodall.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Betty Darnell Woodall; son Timothy Neal Woodall; daughter Cynthia (Charles) Parrish; a grandson that he raised Jeremy Neal Cathey; grandchildren James Cathey, Margaret Cathey, April Mathis, Jade Woodall, and Brandon Woodall; great grandchildren Bethany, Trevor, Elaine, Riley, Michelle, Zackary, D.J., Tegan, and Willow.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 13, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 14th, at 2 PM at the funeral home with the family receiving friends and visitors one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with full Army Honors.
