One of my fondest memories when I was a child, I remember Gramma always sat in her chair with a TV tray in her lap where she would play cards - solitaire of course. One summer when I was 10yrs old, she taught me to play. I sat beside her all week playing, with her watching and occasionally suggesting moves. I've always enjoyed playing and still do. I think of her every time. She gave me the deck of cards that she taught me to play with all those years ago and that's all I've ever used it for. I still have it. It's a simple memory but sometimes it's the small ones that stay with you the longest.
