Lucile W. Eck's Obituary
Lucile Genevieve Warren Eck of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro at the age of 95. Lucile was born on March 24, 1922 on the family farm in Adams, Tennessee. She worked for a short time at National Life and Accident Insurance Company.
On April 6, 1944 she married the love of her life, Harold L. Eck, Sr. Through her marriage, Lucile began her most important role as a wife, mother, and homemaker.
Lucile was a long time member of the Eleventh Street Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee and has been residing at Stone’s River Manor in Murfreesboro.
Lucile is preceded in death by her husband Harold Louis Eck, Sr., her parents Roy and Jo Ella Warren, her 5 brothers; Edward, Milton, Sam, R.C., and Philip Warren.
Lucile is survived by her children, Harold L. (Joy) Eck, Jr., Carol (Jerry) Smith, and Donna (Mike) Lovelace. She is survived by her 8 grandchildren and her 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10am-2pm. Services will begin at 2pm in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lucile’s nephews, Randy Warren, Joel Warren, Charlie Warren, Robert Warren, Mike Warren, Danny Warren, and Joey Warren.
