Mrs. Mai Evelyn Woodrow's Obituary
Mai Evelyn (Buchanan) Woodrow, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Evelyn was born on February 27, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Charles Bingley Buchanan, Jr. and Bessie Mai (Cummings) Buchanan.
Evelyn worked alongside her husband in their business, Verne Woodrow Company. She enjoyed gardening, working puzzles and playing cards in her spare time. She was a member of the Connell Memorial United Methodist Church. She cherished greatly the life that she had been blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of nearly fifty years, Wylie Verne Woodrow.
Evelyn is survived by daughters, Kay Pearlstein, Anita Hartman and Renee Piper; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9 am until the time of service beginning at 11 am at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Nate Pearlstein, Woody Hartman, Brian Blackburn, Zach Pearlstein, David Pearlstein, Ted Heitz, Nick Bradley and Doug Muench.
