I met Monica through a mutual friend and enjoyed swimming/floating with her every Thursday (with other teachers) for the past 7 years.
Our Lady Gate of Heaven a Legion of Mary praesidium in Memphis will always consider sister Monica one of us. She met, advised and prayed with us many Tuesday afternoons as we were rebuilding the Legion of Mary at St Louis Catholic Church. I will remember her humor and also her “school teacher voice”!when we needed guidance. I will miss her but know she has been welcomed into her Father’s arms led by His Mother Mary.
