Nina Bell Garnett's Obituary
Nina Bell Garnett, 86, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Born February 13, 1935, in Cartoogechaye, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Grady Carpenter and Kate Love Carpenter.
Nina was a retired real estate agent and graphic artist. She was an art major in college. Her artistic talent showed in the many crafts and quilts she completed. She also loved gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother David Carpenter; sister Margie Conard.
She is survived by her son Richard Garnett; daughters Sherri (Mack, Jr.) Stringfield, Cynthia (Charles) Shelton, and Deborah (Scott) Kennedy; sister Susie Henderson; grandchildren Angela (Wesley) Holley, April (Joshua) Lusty, Jason (Carol) Stringfield, Kyle (Nicole) Stringfield, and Amandia (James) Ziegler; great grandchildren Tyler, Kyndal, Logan, Kennedy, Penelope, Kinsley, and Natalie; and her fur baby Sammy.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 3 at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville from 12 PM noon until 2 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
