The boys and girls of the Ohio Soldiers and Sailors Orphans Home in Xenia Ohio remember Captain Weinert fondly. While he was stationed at WPAFB he along with captain William Anders visited the children of the Home and they remember him fondly.
I just found about this yesterday (12/3), he was my sergeant in Germany and a good friend. My condolences to the grils and family
